Chapter Five: Reunited

~Damien's POV~

Its been a month and everyone been frantic to find Thylia. I've been restless and I realized that I might actually have actual feelings towards Thylia even though sometimes she puts me on edge. As soon as I realized that I'm madly in love with her, I joined my army in finding her. The demon realm is no place for a sorceress like her. Especially someone who will be a Queen to the underworld. I was driving with Will and a few others in the truck. We were in the south border about 10 miles away from the Demon palace. I stopped in front of a fence that said "No Entry"

I got out and I took out a sniper and load. The rest of army finally stopped their trucks and came out with weapons. I jumped over the fence despite the protests I received from Will and a few others.When I made to the other side. Will sighed and the rest did the same. Once Will jumped over the fence, he immediately went to my side.

'Your Highness, Please don't do that again. Your father will kill me' Will said. I scoffed.

'I frankly don't care what my father want. I need to find my fiancee or else I will kill you. Are you clear, Captain?' I said and Will sighed.

'Yes, my Lord' He said and we started to hike up the hill. I had my guard up. I used my super vision to make sure that there's no demons tracking us. I saw something in front. A girl with a horse. I ushered the rest of the army to follow me. They walked silently behind me. Once I reached her, I used my normal vision and looked at her carefully. I told the men to stay down until I gave the signal. I walked towards the girl who just saw me coming out of the bushes.

Before I managed to even reached her, she ran towards me and attacked me with a bear hug. After she let go, I looked at her. The long black hair was messy but still gorgeous and her gray eyes was sparkling when she looked at me. 'Damien! I thought you forgot about me' She said and I smiled.

'I'll be crazy to actually forget you and what would my people say? Knowing that their Prince has forgotten their future Queen?' I said and she laughed. She lightly punched me and gave me another hug.

'Don't ever leave me or else I will never forgive you' Thylia said and I kissed her forehead.

'Never but come on I'm sure there's a few exceptions right?' I asked and she rolled her eyes.

'Of course' She said and released me. I grabbed her hand and dragged her back to the army. When they saw her, everyone lowered their weapons and we walked back to where we came from. Though we were still alarmed and taking cautious steps in case there's any demons who might attack us. Once we reached to the fence, Will and the other jumped. When it comes to my turn, I was making sure that Thylia jumped first so if anything happens, I might able to help her.

She smiled at me and jumped over the fence without falling. 'See no scratch! Your turn, just make sure that the wire stuck in your shirt or something' She said and I rolled my eyes. 'Don't be ridiculous, I can jump better than you' I said and jumped over the fence. Though when I was about to land, my shirt caught on the stray wire and I fall while hanging over the fence. Thylia laughed and I scoffed. I bet she used a spell to do that. Will helped me down. When I finally land, I glared slightly at Thylia.

Don't take it too hard I glanced at Thylia. She smiled at me and I sighed. I took her hand and led her to the truck. I helped her to the passenger's seat and I went in after her. 'So did you missed me?' Thylia asked. She shuffled her hands nervously.

'No, I didn't' I said sarcastically. Her smile faltered. 'Of course I did or else will I be here?' I said and I gave her a hug.

'Who knows maybe your dad just forced you too so the underworld will have a Queen' She said. I rolled my eyes and gave her a kiss.

'Don't think like that. I do have actual  feelings for you or else I wouldn't be so protective of you' I said and she leaned towards me. 'I thought I was never going back' She whispered. 'Its a miracle that I managed to find you, I thought it might take up another month' I said and looked at her.

'Yeah, a miracle' She mumbled as she closed her eyes. I smiled and the rest of the journey back, she was fast asleep. I was grateful cause she looked so tired. When we finally reached the palace after a few hours later, Father was outside by the grand staircase. He was accompanied by Eric and Graham. I looked over at Thylia and she was still asleep so I decided to pick her up than waking her up. The whole ordeal was terrible enough for her.

I walked up the staircase carefully. Eric was relieved when he saw Thylia asleep. I walked up to my bedroom and place Thylia on my bed. I pulled the covers and place them over her. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs to the kitchen. I saw Eric and Graham seated by the island.

'Hey guys' I greeted.

'Where did you found her?' Eric asked. He took a bite of his sandwich. I walked over to the fridge and took out a bottle of blood.

'She was at Erthden's Forest by the South Border of the demon and the werewolves realm' I replied. Graham chocked on his drink.

'Isn't that close to the palace?' Graham asked. I nodded. 'She was close being hostage. If the werewolves saw Thylia, they will protect her but the demons might turn her into their personal slave' I said and Eric's eyes widen.

'Hoe bad is the demons that everyone seems to be against them so much?' Eric asked. I sighed and sat on the bar stool. I took a swig of blood and place the bottle on the island.

'Well back in the late 1500s the underworld was at war. Terrible place to be. There was blood everywhere. Even home wasn't a safe place to be. When the underworld start a war, every open land is our battle ground. No one was allowed to escape the underworld to go to Earth. It was forbidden though a few managed but others it ends will blood shed. The war began when the demons took our Queen as hostage. Using her as their advantage to win over the war. However, my great grandfather King Rudolph managed to win her back though at which time the war was brutal as ever.'

'The war was all of the creatures versus the demons. Of course the demons lose since they didn't have that much power to against the witches,wizards,vampires,sorceress and the rest. They were outnumbered. That's why the demon realm is ab bit deserted. They don't have much of its kin left but those who have survived are very powerful demons. That's why everyone is against the demons' I explained.

'Whoa that's a lot to take in. So the demons now are powerful then?' Eric asked.

'Very few though since its been a long time' I replied and he nodded.

'Well Thylia's 18th Birthday is in a week. You have to plan the wedding now' Graham said. I turned to him.

'Ahh yes, the wedding. I have to see Mother for awhile. Call me if Thylia is awake' I said and they nodded. I grabbed my half finished blood and made my way to my mother's office. After a few staircases, I knocked on the door and I heard her say come in. I opened the door and walked in.

'Oh, Damien! You're back! How is Thylia?' Mother said as she gave me a hug. As if she's worried. I scoffed internally.

'Thylia's asleep. She had a rough time she deserves the rest. The reason why I'm imposed on you is just that I have to remind you about the wedding' I said. She looked confused for a moment then she smiled. 'Oh yes, you're marrying that orphan' She mumbled, probably hoping that I didn't heard what she said. I rolled my eyes when she wasn't looking.

'Yes, mother I am marrying her. Whether or not she's an orphan or otherwise' I said and she stopped shuffling papers.

'Listen I just think its wise to marry someone of royalty not an orphan' She said. My jaw tightened. I heard the door opens and Father came in with two people. Both of them  looked so much alike Thylia. Who are they?

'Rosalie, I will not hear you say that especially not in front of our guests. This is Duke Xavier Shadows and his brother Count Noah Shadows. I don't its appropriate to insult their sister, don't you agree?' Father said and Mother's face was pale.

'Oh, I'm terribly sorry that I had said such things my lords. I hope you can forgive my manners' Mother said and curtsied. Father led them by the fireplace and a servant place a tray of assorted cakes and pour them tea. I sat opposite of Duke Xavier.

'When are we allowed to see Thylia?' Count Noah asked.

'She's asleep. Please let her rest, she's been through an awful ordeal' I said and he nodded.

'I bet she have. It's alright we can wait' Duke Xavier said.

'What were you two discussing about?' Father asked. I shifted around in the armchair.

'Well I was just reminding mother that we have to plan the wedding' I said and Duke Xavier and Count Noah looked at me.

'Wedding? Are you getting married?' Count Noah asked.

'Yes, I am' I replied. Duke Xavier glared at me.

'Oh and who is this lucky girl?' He asked coldly. Suddenly I felt so inferior being in his presence.

'It's with Thylia. It was set before she was born' I said and he still remained his cold glare at me.

'Thylia? As in my baby sister? Hmm... do you love her, Your Highness? To be tied in a marriage you must need love' He asked.

'Of course I do. I care for her well being and even though she sends people on the edge, I still care and love her unconditionally' I said confidently.Count Noah laughed.

'Brother stopped torturing the poor boy. I think it's amazing that the both of you are to be wed soon. If you mean what you say, then I'm sure that you don't have to worry about my brother slaughtering you' He laughed and my smile falters. Duke Xavier is very intimidating.

'I am. I think I should check on Thylia. Make sure that she's alright' I said and got up. I bowed to my father and to Duke Xavier and Count Noah. 'Excuse me' I said and walked out of the room. Once I closed the door. I breathe a sigh of relief. Thylia's brothers are very odd and extremely terrifying.

**Thylia's POV**

I yawned and looked around my surroundings. I was slightly confused then I realized that I'm in Damien's room when I smelled his scent on the pillows. I pulled the covers away and made my way towards the bathroom. I desperately in need of a shower. I tore away from my worn out clothes and went into the shower.

After I finished showering, I took the towels off its rack and wrapped them around me. I was about to go out when I heard the bedroom door opened. I braved myself to open the door and stick my head out. I was relieved to find Damien on the bed. 'Damien, err... can you find me something to wear?' I asked. He looked up and smiled.

'Oh, right clothes. You don't mind to wear my clothes first right? Until we can buy you new clothes?' He asked. Getting up and made his way towards the closet.

'I don't mind as long as I'm not walking in public naked' I said and he chuckled.

'Actually that sounds very intimidating to see you running around naked. I think we can lay off clothes for today' He said and I gasped.

'I will seriously kill you for that! NO!' I said and chuckled.He hand me the clothes.

'I can't anyway since your brothers are downstairs' He said and I looked at him confused.

'Err... brothers?'

'Yes, Duke Xavier and Count Noah are downstairs. They are excited to see you so get ready and we can all go shopping together' He said and I nodded. I closed the door and quickly change. I tie my hair in a messy ponytail and went out of the bathroom. Excited to meet them.

'Lead me the way, Your Highness' I said and he smiled. He wrapped his arm around my waist and lead me to see my brothers. We were about to take another staircase when I saw the King with two other men.

'Is this Thylia?' The tall and extremely handsome one said. Damien nodded.

'Thylia this are your brothers, Duke Xavier and Count Noah' Damien introduced. Count Noah came forth first and gave me a bear hug. I was surprised at first but I returned it.

'I finally get to see you instead of talking to you inside your head' He laughed and let me go.

'Oh, it was you! Thanks for helping me escape' I said and he blushed.

'Don't fret. Its my job to make sure that you didn't come to any harm though I wished I knew your exact location. I might've come and save you' He said and Damien, Duke Xavier and The King was confused.

'Wait, you communicated with her the whole time?' Duke Xavier asked and he nodded.

'I helped her escape from Zolvert Chambers but since she doesn't know her exact location, I couldn't help her nor any of you to find her' Count Noah said. Duke Xavier sighed. He gave me a hug and kiss my forehead.

'Well at least, you are here now. Safe from the demons and everything else is at peace' He said. I chuckled.

'You're too formal... are you sure we're related?' I joked and Noah laughed.

'That's what I kept telling him. Xavier you're too formal, Xavier stop acting like you're the king but no, he never listens to me. We can't blame him since he was born like 400 years ago. He's been taught to be formal and such' Noah said and Xavier flinched.

'Why do you always finds it as a way to tease me?' Xavier asked Noah. Noah smiled and pinched his cheeks.

'Cause I can!' Noah said and I laughed.

'Does that means I have permission to tease him too!?' I asked and Noah nodded. Xavier sighed.

'Go ahead but if one of you step a line too far, I won't promise that I'll be fair' He warned. Noah jumped and clapped his hands.

'Wonderful! Anyways we better take her out shopping. I mean look at her wearing  man clothes is wearing me thin!' Noah said and I laughed.

'And you thought Xavier was ancient! First off, from where I come from, these clothes are acceptable' I said and Noah's jaw dropped.

'That's an insult! I am not ancient and I just think that female shouldn't dress like a male. It's not appropriate' He said and I laughed again.

'I should bring you to the mortal world and I think you'll be very surprised!' I said and we walked towards the entrance.

'I think surprised is an understatement' Damien said and chuckled. I put my finger on my chin.

'You're right! He might get a heart attack' I said and the both of us laughed as we made our way to the limo. I saw Eric and Graham by the car and ran up to them.

'ERIC! GRAHAM! Oh god, it's so great to see the both of you!' I said and Eric gave me a bear hug. 'God, I missed you too. I was worried sick! You had no idea what Troy and my parents react. They were so scared that something bad might've happen to you' Eric said and I was about to cry. I hated to make them worry about me.

'Damn, I should see them soon. And I think I need to see normal people soon too. There's too many formality here. I'm freaking out right now' Eric laughed and wrapped one arm around me until Xavier glared at Eric. He immediately let go.

'Come on, Xavier, Eric is like a brother to me since I was 8. He was the only person who took care of me and we both are from the same orphanage. It's not fair that you keep glaring at him as if he's your enemy. He won't harm me' I said and he sighed and dropped the glare.

'If what Thylia told me is true then I won't interfere between the both of you any longer' Xavier said and I smiled. 'Good! I need to turn that frown into a smile soon!' I said and Noah laughed. 'Good luck on that' He said and I rolled my eyes.

'Are we going or are we going to grow old here?' I joked and the driver opened the door and all of us slide in. Once we settled in, I looked at my newly found brothers, Damien, Eric and Graham. I finally have the family I had hoped for and I can't ask for anything else.
